Martin Roberts

Welcome to the Web site of Martin Roberts. Here, you can learn more about his work, purchase his books, and enjoy a few items of interest.

Martin has lived in many foreign countries and speaks four different languages. He writes only about incidents that actually happened where he was living, which he then changes into a fiction mode that he calls "Faction." Martin began his writing career early in his life, authoring adventure stories in such publications as True and Argosy magazines. After his retirement from the United States government in 1987, he began work on his novels. When he's not writing, Martin enjoys fly fishing, racing and -- most of all -- chatting with other authors. Other works include: Dagger, Eagle Down, The Dark Art, A Rich Man is Missing, The Dirty War, Coromandels, Yellow Cake -- Red Mercury and the best-sellling A Terrorist or Patriot. His latest thriller, Bona fides, Lies and Spies has just been released and is now available in hardcover or paperback. Martin's next thriller, The Nefarious Trade should be out in the fall of 2009.

Martin's newest book, Bona fides, Lies and Spies (ISBN: 0595681662) has just been released and is available from Amazon.com, Barnes and Noble and Books-A-Million or a bookstore near you. This fast-moving thriller is a salad of intrigue and suspense. Mixed with action, adventure and terror, this is a story garnished with lust, love, treachery, and greed. Throughout the book, Logan is forever looking back over his shoulder and sees greed, betrayal, terror, and love following ... all led by death.
